Replacing Tacx iFlow trainer with Smart Bushido?

Hi, after a little advice regarding the Tacx trainers.
I have an old Tacx i-flow trainer with the PC interface running v3.x of the software. Yesterday it broke so looking at the new range of the trainers and after researching, I am looking at the Bushido Smart.
I really like the way the iFlow works with the PC when I use google maps to ride routes I program and frequently ride same routes against my past rides to see how I compare.
In looking at the replacement, I was looking at the smart bushido unit and then found it wont directly connect to PC without additional kit which is dissapointing but it seems to be similar power and has the option to upgrade to use software but how does it compare to the older iflow? I love the fact it looks like it needs no cabling but at same time I have read people have issues with it when climbing but only find posts relating to older models. Has anyone used both, or alternatively any smart bushido users comment on the way it rides or have issues with climbing or just generally.
Thanks for any info
