Tacx Booster T2500 and 700x23c wheel

Dear all,
I just tried a Tacx Booster T2500 and was somewhat surprised that my rear wheel does not appear to fit the racer setting. With a 700x23c rear wheel I have a diameter of 668mm. That would fit the middle setting of the cylinder, but if I fully loosen the tension screw and fit my racer, the wheel already touches the cylinder and operating the tension lever puts almost too much tension on the wheel. It's like the wheel doesn't fit.
Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas?
Here's the documentation: http://wwwstatic1.tacx.nl/Media/Default ... ebsite.pdf
Kind Regards
