Elite arion digital rollers - Anyone used?

Currently use tacx antares rollers for some workouts but they lack resistance needed for harder workouts so I'm thinking about getting something different.

Have seen the elites mentioned as being pretty good but I can't find much info on them and they are pretty expensive, would anyone who owns a set be kind enough to share their opinions on them please?

Particularly interested finding the answers to a couple of questions but any general thoughts would be great as well

- How does the power function compare with a proper powermeter, is it accurate or at least consistently inaccurate?
- Can the data on the head unit be downloaded to a PC to use with training peaks or similar?
- Can you programme workouts onto the head unit or are you restricted to the ones included?

Any help much appreciated!

Hi, I've had a set of these for a couple of weeks after getting them cheap (£350) from Germany. I don't have a power meter, so I can't comment on the accuracy, but the figures correlate well with Trainerroad on different resistance settings. The head unit is pretty basic, only connects to the rollers and no save function. You can use the app for android/iphone if you have an ant+ connection. The rollers and head unit seem to use their own private ant+ so there's no way to connect it to a garmin as an alternative. I use Trainerroad with a speed sensor to get my power files for analysis. You can't put any custom programs on the head unit, but using the app you can make your own and it will automatically adjust the resistance on the rollers.

Hope this helps, any further questions I'll be only too happy to answer. The max resistance on these rollers is very high so they do give a real workout, that's one thing for sure!
