Just wondered if anyone has used either yet and has a strong recommendation either way. They're roughly the same price.

Not a strong recommendation as I haven't tried the Wahoo one, but the new Garmin cadence sensor works fine, and is simple to install with the new rubber band.

    Just resurrecting this old thread...

My Speed/cadence sensor has just packed up so I have to get a replacement and wondered how the new style cadence and speed sensors are performing over time?

Yeah same experience here. Great training aid & seems far more reliable than the old type.
Plus it's so easy to switch between bikes!

Thanks... just ordered them. I was using the cheapo Decathlon BTwin one. In fact I've got the Decathlon ones installed on my bike for the turbo and also on my best bike. If I like the new one, and it's easily transferable (as the description implies) I may just move it around between them.
