Rode in, stunning through the park, greated by a couple of bouncy joggers. Quick sausage roll with coffee whilst on phone to Singapore.

Mrs is out this evening so a few beers after work followed by a curry me thinks.
Life isnt like a box of chocolates, its like a bag of pic n mix.

    Morning barstewards,
Mr head you really need to get yourself a camera for all these dangerous incidents. You never know when evidence may be required.
Went out for a curry with my normal Wednesday night crowd plus the boy. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, the boy had a couple of pints so was happy. He didn't seem too bad this morning, I turned inside out. Still recovering from this poxy cold, got no energy.
Meanwhile my daughter seems to have hit her teens with a thump, I thought this wouldn't happen until December. She was really miserable this morning. Stevo, have you swapped our offspring?

Don't overdo this work malarkey, you might strain something.
Are you sure you can manage the distance on that ride? I presume you're going for the full 12 miler.
Have you done a Just Giving page or should we just stick something on through that link?

Got an i phone now, what i really need is a helmet cam, that would solve all the problems but potentially tar me with the ankle clip brush.

You've already been tarred with so many brushes, would one more really matter? :P

I only said that I need to look busy

The 12 miler might be more up my street to be honest with the lack of riding I do but I signed up for the 50

Very kind of you to ask about donations, I do have a just giving page for it but I haven't used it because I'm also doing a 10k run in October for Breast Cancer Campaign which I've been focusing more on.

Anyway, the link to the Just Giving page is if you do wish to sponsor me which would be fantastic....

If you’re under 18, it is against the law:

for someone to sell you alcohol
to buy or try to buy alcohol
for an adult to buy or try to buy alcohol for you
to drink alcohol in licensed premises (eg a pub or restaurant)
However if you’re 16 or 17 and accompanied by an adult, you can drink (but not buy) beer, wine or cider with a meal.

    I never knew that :D

He's a slow starter really. I celebrated my 15th birthday in the Castle in Wimbledon Village. Hard to believe but it used to be a really rough pub, then it was shut for years before it went all posh.

Only ever been there when it was the Fire stables, a bit too gastro for me. Are there any really good pubs left in Wim Village anymore? last time I went to the Dog had a cpra meal and dodgy pint.

The Rose and Crown, The Crocked Billet and The Hand in Hand are all decent but I can't afford to get drunk in Wimbkedon Village, so I tend to head downhill to the poor people's pubs.

I don't drink in the Village much any more but it's all gone to hell, far too poncy nowadays. The Rose used to be a decent enough pub although I used to do most of my drinking in the Hand in Hand, worked there quite a bit too. I went to the Fox & Grapes last year and it's not a pub any more. It's a restaurant and hotel. Very sad.
I was once in the Castle of old and there were some labourers playing piano pool. You could only play a shot if you were touching the piano, so they were dragging this old upright piano round the pool table for every shot. It used to get raided by the police on a regular basis as that was where all the dealers hung out. When the old bill turned up half of the regulars would jump over the bar and run out of the back. How times have changed.

Tend to drink in Surbiton now which has a few decent pubs, should do a BB meetup.

I'd be more than happy to swap if you're not happy with yours. We did her what we thought was her favourite meal last night and got moaned at. Still no thanks for the presents. Etc Etc. Should have spent more on LRC products 13 years ago.

I'm tired as well - woke up too early and pedalled in rather enthusiastically. Work is going a bit mad just now for no apparent reason. Weekend will not be a rest due to Stropteens birthday outing all day Saturday. Moan moan moan.

    What!

I'm joking about tonight. I've got to give my lady love some notice, but I'm up for it if we can arrange something. I'm sure she'll be delighted when I tell her I'm meeting up with some men I met on the Internet   I might have to say, old friends which would be true in Veronese's case

You lot stop being parochial South West Londoners and get yourselves into The Smoke for a beer or two. Even the Liverless Wonder has managed that and he almost lives in Wales...

Phew, I can't do tonight either. I was out last night and the EPO is out tonight. This means I'll be putting the wheel building stand to use on the new dining room table without being told off. Besides I haven't even sorted the drink with my neighbours yet and I only have to pass 6 doors to get to the pub. :-/
Stevo, I think it sounds like your stropteen is still worse than mine so I'll stick with what I have.
