'Unrivalled' kit/equipment

Was just reading the thread about winter cycling socks, and the vast majority of posters suggested that the DeFeet Woolie Boolies were unequivocal in their superiority.
What other pieces of cycling clothing/equipment maintains this status? The Castelli Gabba? Deda Zero1 Stem? Those things that just get suggested time and time again on the 'what to buy' threads, those things that just work.
I know there will always be some level of disagreement amongst posters, but I was just curious as to what items are considered in such a light.

Shimano internal cam skewers. Not blingy at all and not particularly light. The design however just works and is reliable unlike flashier versions.jordan_217 wrote:Camelbak podium bottle.
The first podium bottle yes, but the new version isnt as good IMO0 -

Not one thing on here matches up to the title of the thread - ie unrivalled! Not even close! The best you could say is that they are all probably very good 'can't go wrong' recommendations. Not that there's anything wrong in that!Faster than a tent.......0

I'd say the Garmin bike computer range, it's pretty much been accepted into common speech like Hoover* was.
