A well done TIG weld is actually more impressive than a smooth/fillet braze. You can't hide anything

That's just sad, but I completely agree with you. That is a lovely looking bike Bender.
Although I'm sure someone will claim that smoothed off joints create less turbulence so save you 0.25w at 40mph.

Just about dialled in the position now.

Sprinting on hills is hilarious. Just get in the drops and mash it. The Condor I had was super stiff but the Ritchey just has that little bit of give.

So, when you mash it you feel that spring spring you back. Now, physics wise, yes, there's bound to be a small use of energy there but the rebound gives you some back and, psychologically, you absolutely fly. I adore this bike.

Absurd that there is such a difference between RRP and the prices online! I wonder why?

I was considering it as I thought it may be too big. Shorter stem and inline have put paid to that. Lovely now.

Clearly a mistake... there is no way Ritchey will sell a 1.4 Kg tubeless wheel set for 300 Euro

Yeah, the US price is $799 I think. Making the UK price of just under £700 about right

However, with the tubeless DT 440 + DT 440 asymmetric it is possible to build under 1500 for around 300 quid, using taiwanese hubs... or lighter (and a lot more expensive) with Tune hubs or heavier and more reliable with the British Hope Mono RS

At the moment with the Euro so low those German sites with their light tat look solo irresistible...
