I am really, really happy with it. Also something different than what people use. Its nice to be unique.0 -

Thanks
I think there is a problem with my work network. Photo was visible at home... Weird.
Anyways,
Yesterday I attached my new chain to bike. This time, Dura-Ace 9000. Hopefully this will survive more than KMC X11SL I was using.
I am also now looking for S-Works saddle to replace my heavy Romin Evo Expert. Also, if my budget allows, I will get 40mm carbon wheels too, from China of course0 -
I have one as my crit bike. Can't fault it.0

Here is the final built;
With 40mm carbon clinchers, 2015 Campagnolo Chorus groupset, Easton EC90 SLX3 handlebars and Selle Italia C64 saddle.
Weight is 6830 grams with winter tires (Continental GrandPrix PolyX Breaker 24mm) and
6810 grams with Vittoria Corsa 23mm and Veloflex Corsa 23mm tires.

Absolutely lovely, looks mean, all chinese parts?Canyon Roadlite AL-Shamal Wheels-Centaur/Veloce Group

That looks great. The frame totally apes the R5 which is a very good thing - e.g. the rear wishbone is the spitting image of an R5.
How much was it? Did you get it in the UK or via Taiwan? Did you have to pay any duty on it?When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -
As FJ says, that is the spit of an R5 , especially the rear triangle. Looks Great. Can I ask which carbon clinchers you went for and where you sourced them. I m after some for an Evo Six.0

Sorry guys for the late answers. I subscribed to the topic, I supposed to get notifications when there was a new reply, but...Miles253 wrote:Absolutely lovely, looks mean, all chinese parts?
Frame, fork, seatpost, rims and stem are Chinese.FransJacques wrote:That looks great. The frame totally apes the R5 which is a very good thing - e.g. the rear wishbone is the spitting image of an R5.

Frame was around 450GBP, and wheels were around 340. But I ordered them all while I am in Turkey, not UK so I paid tax for Turkish customs. It is 18% here, if you wonder.tim wand wrote:As FJ says, that is the spit of an R5 , especially the rear triangle. Looks Great. He custom builded these for me. A bit more expensive but I think it worths it.
I used Sapim Cx-Ray spokes, 2x on both sides at rear wheel and Novatec A291 / F482SL hubs.
It weights 1500 grams with red veloplugs. He has an eBay account, but I recommend you to send a mail to him and have the same custom set as me.0 -
Thanks for that. Will give them a look. also interested in the Superstar component in a 32. They are based about 6 miles up the road from me so will also take a look there.0

@tim wand,
I'm pretty sure that, what they do is buying Carbon rims from China and building them there in the hop.
You will pay extra for the same wheel, But! you will have warranty and a brand behind their product. If price difference won't be huge, I would buy it from my local shop, to be honest.0
