High Intensity Interval Training - Turbo Video

I've just finished putting together a little 4 minute HIIT/Tabata style video for the turbo trainer. Now that the nights are already starting to get dark and cold, I envisage the old Turbo will be out shortly. Well I thought I'd blend a little of my Pyrenees trip with some silly sprinting on the Turbo. There is no music, but anything by the prodigy (jericho, Breathe or Warrior Dance) works pretty well.

I find it much easier doing this on a Gym bike though.
Positive and negative comments welcome - I hope its useful I find about 3-5 loops enough as part of a nice 20-30 minute blaster. Anyone else done their own training videos?

I like the video and I would use it at home if......
I like to use power against FTP for all workouts so I would use it if I had the Trainer Road power profile to follow, as I do with the Sufferfest videos.
However, in a spin class of something where they do not have the right equipment it would be very useful.
I could never pedal at that speed though!0 -
You'll be amazed what RPM you can hit with a bit of practice - not that its necessarily that good for you. But not too long ago someone on here recommended I try some high speed pedalling to improve my TT/sprinting. Made a big difference. I can hit 200rpm (just) on a wattbike - not for too long though. Its pretty easy to do 150+ on a 60kg Spinner.0

Thanks for this. One of the issues of indoor training is that any single routine gets stale so its handy to have a variety. I'll add this to my HIIT playlist.Martin S. Newbury RC0
