Knee pain

I recently got new shoes and fitted the new spd sl cleats to them, i tried to mirror the new cleats to match the ones on my old shoes but i now get knee pain in the front of both knees in the middle so do i need to move the cleats in, out, back, forward any help folks will be great.

    Have you increased your mileage? Could simply be a chronic over-use condition - lay-off the big gears and try spinning in the saddle. Moving the cleats back a touch may alleviate the condition as well as rest. If it still hurts and you keep riding it'll only get worse.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Everytime someone's injured on here it's the equipment's fault, or can be quick-fixed with an equipment change. No ones body ever breaks down due to training incorrectly. OP, can you link to your Strava account so we can see the rides you've been doing lately? Anything else that has changed or been out of the ordinary?

    If riders do big miles, or harder rides, end up tired or tight, and then go out and do more without being loose, that's when they start to get problems. Always make an effort to be as loose and flexible as possible on the bike to reduce injury, this means stretching/foam rolling/massage and quality rest.
    All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!
