Does anyone know if this extremely cheap stick works to connect a mac with Golden Cheetah/Trainer Road?

Thanks!

Good point, obviously. It's just that I'm a bit low on cash and since I don't strictly need it I wondered if I could get away with spending a little less. I still might decide not to buy it now and go for the Suntoo once I have more money available.

If it works with Garmin's s/w it will work with TrainerRoad as they use the official ANT+ stack.
If it doesn't work with GC send me an email and we'll fix it !

Reckon its worth a punt .. and if it doesn't work I'll swap mine with you :)

Sounds good! I ordered the stick, it will probably take a while before it's in. I reckon you contribute to GC? I really like the program and I don't even have a power meter. Just found out you can also do virtual power with GC so I really don't see a need for using TrainerRoad anymore.
  • It works!! The stick arrived yesterday, at first I couldn't get it to work but after trying a couple more times it did. Of course I don't know anything about durability yet but it seems like a good alternative for the more expensive ones.
