So over the past two weeks my hrm has been playing up. Either showing hr too high or too low or just not working period! Any suggestions? I changed the battery but no difference.... It'd doing my head in :-)

IME it will be the strap that is at fault.
    I use this one instead.

    Still needs replacing periodically though.

Same happened to mine. I kept changing the battery's but it never seemed to read right. I ended up binning it in frustration and bought a decathlon one for £15.99 http://www.decathlon.co.uk/gcoded-hrm-c ... 71939.html Faultless and comfy too.

i had a problem with mine, rang them up and they sent me another one. Just tell them a purchase date within the last year, they didn't ask for any proof.

You rang garmin? Or where you purchased it from?

Had the same issues. Bought the polar one and a spare for when it packs up. Works perfect.
