Damn that's looking nice! Super sweet build, exactly how a hardtail should be built! All it needs is a reverb and that is damn near perfect.
Reverb will be down the line but I have the Nomad build to sort out first...

Slightly OT but are you on the C2W shemes?

Yes we are with some - Halfords and some smaller ones right now. Cyclescheme maybe soon. Call us to find out more information if you're interested. Ben

Thanks Ben - prpbably won't until next year.
Have you got any demo days planned for Cannock Chase?

160mm 36 off the shelf fork for the win.

Already ordered a 170mm for the Nomad. Easily lowered if need be though.

  • A fair few rides done on the recent set up with nothing bad to report. Wheels holding up well despite my riding being deliberately more direct with the bike - partly due to testing the wheels and partly due to the Pike settling in and feeling really good and making me forget I have no travel on the rear. Tyres continue to be excellent for the local conditions and terrain.

As mentioned above the Pike has bedding in nicely and feels super plush on the bike. Went with a different set up to the Pike on my Remedy by adding in a token and set sag at a touch under 30% as opposed to no token and just over 20% sag and a bit more LSC. Prefer the token set up so I will transfer this back across once I roll the Remedy back out in the Spring.

Dropper Post has been mentioned but since the saddle change with it's smaller profile I have found it a lot easier the move the bike around and not so bothered about running a dropper so I shall leave it for this season. It would still be a good addition to have but will revisit later on in the Summer or Autumn.

That's a great looking bike. The proportions are very 'right'. Colour's nice, too.
All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.
