These TRP's are awesome, the squealing that I had with the BB7's has gone . The Spyres are nice and powerful, easy to adjust & IMO look much nicer than the BB7's.
The only problem I've noticed with the Spyres is, when the front brake is pulled extremely hard it has on occasion pulled the front wheel out of alignment in the forks, no matter how tight I've done up the quick release, I put this down to the design of the drop out on the fork though
Have you seen the allen key bolt security style 9mm axles from the likes of Halo. Which are designed to give you a security tamper quick release. If you use these instead of standard Q/Rs you get a kind of thru axle benefit, and a set only costs a tenner.
Will sort the issue on the front. But the set I ve got is 130mm road spacing on the rear. Aren't these 135 rear hub spacing?0 -

I have tried a set of them but still had the same problem, the problem is the dropouts on the fork are out of alignment, PlanetX are ordering me a new set of forks.0 -
Quick update.
The Dirty Disco has been returned to PlanetX. The issue with the fork wasn't resolved & due to the poor customer service I'm walking away from PlanetX.
A refund is now in progress & I look forward to collecting my replacement bike from JE James ASAP.0 -
Hopefully, they will sell you a bike with a level saddle...0
