Carbon frames in turbo trainers?

Can anyone give me their take on the topic?

I had a Ribble evo carbon, and wasnt overfussy about it going in the rear wheel type trainer skewer/clamp, however I have now got a Scott Foil 15 with Di2 gearing and was wondering if anyone with a frame of similar spec etc had any reservations or otehr info regarding using it in a turbo?

I have looked at the Lemond Revolution, and also rollers, which I currently have, having swapped for the Tacx Booster.

I'm unsure what trainer would be best for the frame...I know most will say rollers, but I am TOTALLY unconfident on them to the point where I wont use them!!!

HELP!!

No issues whatsoever with carbon bikes on turbos. Simply not worth worrying about.

I've only ever seen one person with a complaint that the turbo cracked their frame 0 and that was the cannondale rep saying that.

All of the pros warm up on turbos these days - they ride the lightest bikes and put out power we can only dream of.

I use my bikes happily in the turbo - no worries.

you need a bike bra to cover the top tube - otherwise the salt in sweat dissolves the carbon fibre.

same reason why you can't use fairy liquid* to wash a carbon bike.

    * other dissolving agents are available.

Good job they don't build boat hulls out of carbon fibre then, with all that salt water around. Oh, hang on.....
