Need Help ID'ing this Bike

Hi I am looking to get a bike for my wife and myself and came across this. Seems like a good deal but can't seem to figure out what year is this Trek 6000 for.

Is it a good deal? Tested it and seemed to shift fine. May need to service the brakes on one of them.

If you can help me out with the year and if it seems like a good deal that would be great thanks!

How old is the dart 3 forks and when did they stop producing them? Are they way older than 2 years old then?

I think its about a 2008-10 model.

Long stem, narrow bars, wont be a great ride with those forks but for getting about town and easy trails not too bad and the frame will be solid if a little harsh. Price for 2 bikes in Van is pretty good.
