Need Help ID'ing this Bike

Hi I am looking to get a bike for my wife and myself and came across this. Seems like a good deal but can't seem to figure out what year is this Trek 6000 for.

Is it a good deal? Tested it and seemed to shift fine. May need to service the brakes on one of them.

Long stem, narrow bars, wont be a great ride with those forks but for getting about town and easy trails not too bad and the frame will be solid if a little harsh. Price for 2 bikes in Van is pretty good.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0
