Fantastic fun forum challenge - worth a read*

OK, so moving on from the earlier posts this week about percieved wealth and my feeling that it is fake and goes mainly on what people think rather than what is true I thought we really could have a fun day out and put this theory to the test.

I was thinking that a suitable candidate may be arran77 as he seems to be the king of porn.

Anyway, I have a few potential challenges.

1) I know of a decent restaurant in or around Knightsbridge that has a glass frontage and valet parking directly outside the front which is completely viewable by the front reception and has a strict dress code of full trousers and shirt.

Firstly one of my friends (yes, I do have a couple) will drive to the front in a transit van (because I have one), wearing 3/4 length shorts and a T-shirt and we can film wether he gets in.
We could then get arran77 or someone else ? to drive up to the front an hour later wearing almost identical clothing but arriving in a Bugatti Veyron.
We can see if he gets in or not.

2) We get a male model who will obviously be decent looking to drive up to a chosen woman (picked randomly but decent looking) in a clapped out old cr4pper and ask for directions, once given we get the model to ask the woman on a date.

We then get arran77 or someone else from the forum to do the same but to a different lady but this time he pulls up in a Lamborghini or Ferrari, asks for directions and then for a date.
I suggest we do this test on 3 occasions to 3 different women for each part just to get an overall picture.

I know some will come into the thread and argue the toss but this could be fun if nothing else. anyone ?

Arran should be up for this as it involves a drive in a flash mota and a possible date or two :)

I guess it would happen BEFORE due to the fact we are trebling the size of the house thanks to the relaxed planning laws, I didn't post about it due to the agro it would cause but he-ho.

The offer wasn't open to you, we all know what you lot drive like  and with a severe lack of humour it probably wouldn't suit.

I'm loving the humour of going to a restaurant in different clothes and cars to see what happens it's so wild and crazy...

I tell you, a night out with you must be a rollercoaster of non stop fun and laughs.

    .

Is that that before or after you sell up and move to the coast, as you previously told us you were doing ??

    Oh wait......

Interesting idea VTech, not sure how being the king of porn qualifies me for this though

Also not sure that Mrs 77 or the little 77's would appreciate me swanning off to London but maybe we could really test your theory and I'll bring the littlies too, I'm sure such a restaurant would be child friendly

Maybe they're just lulling us into a false sense of security before they start the BikeRadar Final Solution

No offence taken Colin. On your salary you would probably struggle to keep up with me on a night out so this was the second best.
It works both ways my friend ;)

Of course the above is just a little bit of fun. I'm sure colin could keep up.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I arrested someone last night, he earns more in a week than I earn in a year apparently. See his watch, it cost more than my car (despite him having no idea what I drive)

See his jeans £400 they cost....

His shoes were hand made too.

I could tell you how much every single thing he was wearing cost, I have no idea why he thought I was interested. And he also made it clear I would never afford any of his wealthy trapping on my lowly wage.

I did actually ask him if he goes by the name Vtech on the internet.... He says he didn't so it must just be a coincidence.....

He was a top bloke.... Strangely he was out on the town on his own - didn't seem to have any friends. I guess they were all out the country doing stuff us mortals can only dream of.

I need to ask - what was he arrested for? Or is 'suspicion of being VTech' now an arrestable offence? ;)
