    Now therein lies the problem. I have no idea. Nothing on hub and nothing on the manufacturers website specs.

    I've used generic axles and cones from Halfords before but they are made of cheese metal. I was hoping to get something more durable.

    No I am not saying there is anything wrong with the original grease I just like to put my own stuff in something you would have problems doing with sealed cartridge bearings without playing around with seals] and the track record I have had with sealed headset and bottom bracket bearings has not been good but everyone to there own I suppose
