Has anyone had experience with the type S? I can see lots of reviews on the original models but not the type S.

I have one bike and a rotor 3d crank with QXL, so I think the power2max would fit well.

    Yes - I've got the Rotor 3DF Type S

Had it for about 3 months now - absolutely simple to install and live with. Reports totally consistently and pretty accurately as well vs. other devices (turbo/powertap/friends P2M). In fact I would say that this is totally user friendly as it requires no calibration, zero's itself (just occasional coasting needed/recommended) and links to the garmin everytime. Plug and play.

Thanks for that, all sounds positive.

How long did yours take to arrive after ordering?

Here's what I did to my QXL to fit the P2Max. Obviously with the S type that's no longer an issue. They delivery in weekly batches, so if you order near the start you'll have a longer wait. But it's about 2 weeks tracked.

Took 2 weeks to ship plus 4 or 5 days to arrive. It was exactly what they quoted me.

I've got Rotor QXL on a standard P2Max. No Dremelling required. You do have to separate the crank from the meter though. But that's not onerous.

Cheers guys. Will be dispatched in week commencing 30th June, so should have it within 3 weeks I guess.
