No reason why it would be wrong. England are out so support whoever you like! Im supporting Colombia all the way.

^^^I highly doubt no one in football knows about electrolytes and other hydration techniques and gels.

If the USA win this tournament (I know), then in the blockbuster movie that will follow, Klinsman will be played by Kevin Costner. In fact, Klinsman *is* Kevin Costner.

I am glad that The US of A are out.
I see that the team are pretty good, but if ANY other country in the world won the World Cup the average bloke in the street of that country would be overjoyed. In Yankland, they just wouldn't care. It looks like there is an upswell of interest in football over there, but I guess that is in the big cities and media driven. Billy-Joe in Arkansas won't give a damn.

They are still a better team than our collection ofcrap though.

Brazil 5-0 down at half time?!?!
Who'dve thunk it. Imagine the odds you could have got down the bookies.

Might stick a quid on them to win 6-5 now - could do with paying off my mortgage.

    Yeah.

    Perhaps not.

Teehee. One colleague drew Spain and Brazil in the office sweepstake - guess he's not buying the round, then.

That was one of the most incredible games I've ever seen. Thankfully, the Germans started to look embarrassed at 5-0 and took their foot off the gas. For all that has been said about the Brazilians being abysmal, Germany were absolutely awesome.

FFS, looks like another one going to penalties.
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
