Garmin Edge 500 Power Zones

Can you change it from 7 to 6 and more importantly amend the power of the zones.

I don't know if you can change it from 7 to 6, but you can alter the zones by adjusting your FTP number on the garmin, or by using garmin connect account on the web and downloading the settings via USB to the garmin.

Worth spending time getting the zones (coggan based) set right.

Wave, I will check that out later, I do use the Coggan based method.

You can amend them but you have to change them manually, changing your FTP doesn't do a thing to the zones (at least not on my 800) as people will be interpreting the zones differently. I based mine on Coggan after my last FTP test.
