Bike fit today

Took a trip to Criterium at Edinburgh today and had the Domane fitted to me.

Went well, no major changes, but will probably need slightly narrower bars.

I was well impressed with the difference even the most minor changes made to how the whole bike felt, and Paul goes out his way to explain what he is doing, and why.

Then went out and set a PB on my little 30k circuit,, yay ! :D , bike fits work.

I was surprised at the way some changes were in the opposite direction to what I imagined I needed, just shows you,, thats why you pay the money.

Roll on August and my first sportive, the reason for the bike fit really.
Trek,,,, too cool for school ,, apparently

    A fair bit actually

Saddle went up and forward, also tilted back to properly level., Stem was inverted, and up, but this dropped the bars slightly, bars rotated back, cleat position changed and set up as well.

The whole bike feels like I am much more on top of the bb now, My pedal rotation was already very smooth, but now, my heels are held higher at the bottom of the stroke.

Definitely a recommended procedure for anyone looking to get the most from the bike.

I was amazed when I bought the Domane, and this just makes it feel even better.

I expect a few aches due to the change in position, but like I said, it feels better.
