In this photo it looks like damage from clamping in a bike stand?"You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -
Come on mods raid the cache and put the original pics up :idea:0

Internet is a weird place.
Practical advice is useful. Bearded Lady and curiosity shop - less so.
Anyway, Canyon give a silence on their customer service. So good luck with the 6year guarantee folks0 -

On this we do agree"You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -

I thought they had already told you where to go?
Isn't that why you are on here trying to get your revenge?"You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -
Charlie Potatoes wrote:They are not the same photo's as the ones you originally posted are they?
The originals were a lot clearer. Where are they?dolphin2000 wrote:You can see the crack in the seat-tube about the same distance down as a "vcls" writing on the seat-stays
If you post up the photo of the other side we would see that it is not just a crack is it Dolphin?
I didn't see the originals before they vanished.0 -
Taken at the same time, just with the whole bike in.
It's not going to get sorted on here. I agree with Charlie P's words on that, wise and profound words.
Although you do seem to have an element of troll in you CP . Revenge, have they done wrong?
Canyon have been terrible though, but companies like taking money, but don't like meeting their obligations. I guess companies have always tried that though hey-ho
Enjoy the weekend everyone0 -

If you look back on page one it is apparent that the original pics prompted some comments that are in disagreement with the OP. You will note Luke Hattersley' comment...madasahattersley wrote:How much do you weigh? That crack looks catastrophic and I'd be amazed if you managed to ride without noticing it. Is the seatpost up to the min. insertion mark?
The new photos do not show it as 'catastrophic' like the originals."You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -

Indeed you are correct Sir. My Grandmother (paternal side) was half troll"You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -
Lol that's funny, they're not new photos they were taken at the same time last week.
Put the entire bike on though as apparently Charlie P has implying it had been crashed. Now it's a clamp. It's failed on the seat-tube. Steel fails gradually, whereas carbon fiber fails suddenly and catastrophically - but for peace of mind and comeback there is a warranty, isn't there?...
Or you tell me half grandmother troll CP what has happened to it?0 -

Put the original photo up and I'll take another look at if for you."You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -
But aren't you so sure it's had an impact?
Do you own any Canyon bicycles Charlie?
That's enough for me on the forum. Thanks for your time everyone. I'll hopefully sort out something and good summer all. Cheers.0 -
Dubious behaviour and responses methinks
May be all above board but I wouldn't put money on it.0 -
madasahattersley wrote:Canyon aren't doing anything for him, he's not posting the pictures up because they might be damaging to the firm and to avoid conflict and it's of no interest to him whether people see the pictures or not. Why keep bothering him?
So how come he is posting up the 'lesser' photos then? The original pictures were not having the desired effect (ie. not damaging enough to the firm) and that is why they were removed.
This forum is littered with one time posters who only join to attempt to ruin a manufacturer or retailers reputation. They disappear afterwards(like this one now intends to do). It gives a distorted view and is not helpful IMO.
That's not to say I don't value 'real' feed back from 'real' forum members, good or bad."You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -
Has the bike been left on the premises of a bike dealer ? A hapless jobfit trainee may have clamped it on the seat tube.
Can't get the staff, absolute shower etc.
