Frame warranty swap options and resale value

Hello - I'm looking for some advice from those in the know as I'm a little out of the loop.
I found a crack on my 07 trek 9.8 top fuel and my excellent LBS have arranged a warranty deal with Trek but I don't know which option to take.
A) free swap of frame to hardtail 9.9 SSL, keeping my '07 Fox forks, 26" wheels and SRAM X0 groupset.
pay £550 for a new 9.7 fuel ex or superfly 29er (I could raise the funds but not easily).
Considering resale value in particular.... What would you do ????
Thanks.

Resale value of a 2007 top fuel isn't much now. £500 for the new Fuel EX sounds like an excellent offer.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Or I can get the 9.7 superfly FS 29er on the swap deal.
How much would someone realistically pay for a new 9.7 FS on eBay / pinkbike?0 -
Look on Ebay or Pinkbike.I don't do smileys.
