Of course, once we all watch Google, those of us who have opted out of the swamp of obscenity by our virtuous choices, will have such gestures censored. #KeepitHuman...a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0

Totally unrelated, but I recorded the Tour of Belgium, today.
Awful fall for Steve Cummings.
Lost control of his bike, simply throwing a bidon away.
Massive smack on his left shoulder; possible fracture of some kind..."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

He has a habit of crashing due to food and drink. Luckily he usually does it at the back of the peloton.0 -

Before I looked at the photo I was really confused and thought that they had now taken the descent time off.
Or maybe they have, but don't want to tell Nairo.0 -

Quoted for truth.
Anyhow, broken elbow confirmed.
Joins Phinney in the broken for Tour team.
Does this mean a domestique slot just opened up for Cadel in TJVG's Tour train? :P"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

ROCKS?
Apologies, apologies. After the boring essays I had the world's most boring meeting about moving office, new office furniture and new staff ID cards, then an exciting (yay) Dutch lesson where I had to simultaneously translate yesterday's Sporza commentary for the ascent and descent of the Stelvio (I have converted my Dutch teacher to the joys of kijken wielrennen op de televisie: "heel spannend! Heel spannend! De afdaling was moelijk en ze zijn allemaal gek!" Or words to that effect) which was the most fun one can possibly have in a language lesson and then I was engaging in a spot of shameless self promotion on various social media platforms.

So Stefano Pirazzi eh? Worth catching some highlights or not?Correlation is not causation.0 -

Yep, good days ahead hopefully. Hopefully they can all adapt to more 'rounded' GT courses too though as this is quite a climber friendly route.0

I still don't believe quintana is under 32 never mind 23. His paper round must have been distributing Columbians finest powder through the mountains he looks so old. Climbing like a true vet, Chris horner in his prime too.0

Unfortunately Pirazzi spoiled his moment in the spotlight by making an offensive gesture after crossing the line. He was fined 200 Swiss Francs and was forced to quickly apologise.
"Winning had become and obsession that had lasted five years. I regret the gesture and I ask to be forgiven," he said in the stage winner's press conference.
"It got to the point that if Pirazzi attacked, everyone chase him down but if anyone else attacked it was OK. People kept saying 'Pirazzi gets it wrong again,' 'Pirazzi attacks for nothing'. I’ve always tried to put on a show and so I always knew a win would come eventually."
"Fortunately this time I chose the right moment. Of the four riders left up front, I was the slowest so I attacked from far out. We did a fast final two hours and so in the end they lacked the strength to chase me. I attacked, got a gap and stayed away."
