Stages Power Meter and Cadence Sensor

Hi,
I've just placed an order for a Stage power meter, and I am going to be using this with a Mio Cyclo 505, which currently has a cadence and speed sensor setup.
From reading the Stages information it says the power meter outputs both power and cadence, and I wondered does this mean I no longer needed the cadence sensor from the mil attached to my crank arm?
Cheers

I took mine off (Garmin) and the speed sensor from my best bike. No problem picking up the cadence from the Stages and speed from Sat."You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0

Awesome didn't think about the satellite speed from the Mio. Cheers.0

I left mine on, simply for speed from the turbo trainer... but yes you don't need the pedal/crank arm magnet anymore :P0
