Been travelling recently and got some ebooks to read on flights.
Included "Time-Trialling. Fly Through the Pain Barrier" by Adam Topham.
It's a bit pricey for an ebook but is an excellent read, being a very comprehensive overview on all matters TTing.
It's especially interesting as the author is someone like me and I guess many others. He started cycling seriously in 2007 relatively late on approaching his 40s, his kick being breaking the hour for 25 on a road bike.
Now he is the reigning BBAR champion, winning the title for the second year running and has recorded short 19 10s and short 49 25s.
There are a few mistakes in the book and I am sure some knockers will find stuff to criticise (there are sections on cadence, pedal technique and core work ).
Still if you are a keen tester and want to get better I am pretty sure you will find enough information and inspiration in this book to help you go faster and as such it represents excellent value for money.

Didn't realise this. I'd recommend the "real" option as per above. If you follow the suggestions you will spend some time in front of a mirror and it will be handy to have pictures you can compare yourself with.
If you are serious about TTing I really would take a look at this book. It is the most focussed in terms of this specific discipline that I have ever seen. The advise in terms of bike setup is especially good, giving some very specific suggestions in terms of trade-off aero vs power. If you are a beginner this will save you hours of experimenting and carve minutes off your times. Even advanced riders will benefit I'd guess.Martin S. Newbury RC0
