Warmup - nice presentation

I was asking around with some questions on warmup's and was directed to this presentation which is pretty good and contains useful info + some sensible advice. Worth checking out if interested in this topic.

It's always interested me how long a warmup continues to be beneficial for. You see the pros warming up for a time trial and then I wonder how long it is sometimes before they actually start?0

So no point warming up if you are going out for a non competitive ride.

I don't see any evidence presented, in the slide show, that there is no benefit to warming up prior to a non-competitive ride.
I would guess the hypothesis that it would be of a benefit are;
1) warm up increases the training benefit of a session
2) warm up reduces the risk of injury due to a training session
3) regular warm up has benefits not measurable following a single session
None of the research presented answers those questions, or even attempts to.0
