Yes - you are Bobby Ewing and I claim my £50 -
Two groups in the women's race with Emma J, Pooley and Armitstead in the first.
Contador is the Greatest0 -
Vos is there as well but was trailing. 1 lap only to race.Contador is the Greatest0

I bloody love Emma Pooley
(in a non-lesbian way)0 -
-
Evie Stevens and Prevot are there as well.Contador is the Greatest0

Jo Rowsell has abandoned. So has Lucy Martin.
Pooley on the Mur first time round about 10 mins ago, looked comfortable.
GPM 1. Moolman (HPU) 2. Pooley (LTB) 3. Armitstead (BLT) 4. Longo Borghini (HPU) 5. Ferrand Prevot (RBW)
(means nothing much by the end of course).0 -

Men's race approaching the Mur for the first time, with about 90kms to go. Breakaway of three riders have 6 mins on the peloton.
35kms and 5 climbs to go for the women's race. Lots of testing attacks, esp from Rabo (and including Vos). Moolman's team mate Audrey Cordon had a go and has a 15 second lead on the peloton now. Expect the usual suspects to begin attempts to bridge across rather than drag the whole peloton with them.0 -
Sporza now live.
Only 76kms to go. Break at 6 and a half."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Vos attacks! Fourth climb from the finish, about 25kms to go for the women.
Cordon has been caught.0 -
Attacks all over the place in the ladies race today. Definitely a more interesting race then the men's.Contador is the Greatest0

That climb had shattered the women's peloton. Three more slopes to go.
Group of 10 leaders formed.
About 5kms to the next climb, which will be 2kms at 6%.0 -
Pooley's team mate has attacked and got a 10 second gap just before the start of the climb.0
-
De Vocht caught and Pooley attacks in turn.
Pooley takes QoM on the penultimate climb. Armitstead 3rd.
10 kms to go! Only the Mur to do now.0 -
Linda Villumsen attacks and gaps the half-dozen chasers by about 15 seconds.
She's done this before in this event and will probably be caught on the lower part of Mur, as the chasers won't allow her to build up a big enough gap.
Er, gap 25 seconds now.... they're playing poker: who's going to chase?0 -
This ladies race is taking forever.Contador is the Greatest0
-
Villumsen approaching the final climb now on the main highway.... gap 35 seconds to the chasers.
Not a bad climber but she doesn't have a jump like Vos & others can do on the steepest part so she needed to do this.0 -
-
She was out of fuel approaching the steepest part after the zig-zag corner.
France wins. Pauline Ferrand Prevot..0 -

It was the only way she could have done it and she had a go.
Lizzie Armitstead got 2nd.0 -
2nd place for Lizzie Armitstead
