Gilbert certainly looked in decent form. I thought he'd have used too much making that bridge only for the break to get swallowed up within a minute of him getting across but a good turn of speed. Not the strongest field but if he can hang on to the likes of J Rod, Kwia and Valverde last time up the Cauberg on Sunday who knows?0
