Bit of a dry period before the Ardennes so good to have this race today. A good race too.

Last year Gilbert nearly got that elusive win but none other than....Sagan took it.

Was also the race Sagan gave flowers to the podium girl:

Previous year Voeckler schooled the Belgium riders in how to ride a Belgium one day race in bad weather.

Not sure about feeds but definitely on sporza. Also on Bein and RTBF.

Is this the one Sagan got in trouble for groping the podium girl? Any sign of a feed - fancy watching it on my spare screen as it's so quiet in the office.

As per my original post it was the race he gave flowers to her not when he took a pop.
Yes there will be feeds - not until about 2pm.

That was at the Tour of Flanders.

One of my favourite races, mainly because I lived in the area where it's held for 6 months or so and these were the roads I used to ride on.

Missed that caption somehow! Cheers, late lunch then - not a race I've watched before.

Looking at the list of past winners it seems possible for all types of riders to win. A bit lacking in pro tour teams with 9 present but I guess that's always the case with this level of race. I fancy Bakelandts for this one.

Dan Martin is riding - time for him to show something as he has done nothing this year.

If Gilbert is not firing full gas its not promising for the Ardennes.

OPQS team somewhat weak - would be nice to see Alaphillipe go for it.

Gerrans is racing as are the Yates bros. This would be a good race for Simon - really hope they make the others ride the front and give Simon free reign. Gerrans is a better sprinter but Simon could gap them before then.

Would be happy for Leukemans to win.

    Startlist pretty weak.

    Shame Slagter isn't riding.

Maybe one for Gilbert? Or Matthews. Alaphillipe my outsider (if he's an outsider).

Look at Mr High Brow. Most people would have gone with Ned or Maud.

All kicking off in the peloton. Lotto forced the pace (VDB maybe), now an OPQS rider clear but not forcing and a lotto behind.

Interesting. VDB clear with THREE OPQS. WHO IS THE BOSS TEAM?

    My man Alaphilippe is there.

58ks 6 ahead 1.30 to BOSS then 2mins to the peloton (not a lot of firepower in there).

The other two are Serry and Vermote. Bakelandts in the peloton if it comes back.

    54ks 57secs 1.21mins
    VDB free ride atm.
Surprised the gap to the peloton is not growing - not much cohesion back there.

Peloton working hard now (assuming my feed is up to date!), can't see the break lasting much longer.

Steve Cummings splitting it up on the final climb of the lap.

Well that was a bit of a let down. Those four caught but the peloton in clumbs of 15-30 very strung out.
