Left calf pain. Any thoughts?

I seem to be very sensitive to bike set up.
Of late, I have minutely adjusted my seat height and pitch to try and make my ride a little more comfortable.
Last year it was fine, now I am picking up a niggling pain, top dead centre of my left calf.
I believe the saddle is back in its original position, but the calf is causing some pain and concern.
No problem in the right though after using the foam roller tonight for the first time, it is now a tad sore.
So, saddle too high or too low I wonder?
Any other thoughts?
Thanks

Possibly.
Possibly cleat has moved/worn slightly.
Or some other issue.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

It really could be anything and I'd say it's a long shot to blame minute changes to your bike setup.
Is this a long lingering issue or just recent? Have you tight hamstrings, achilles, etc? Have you been doing any running, walking? Have you changed your shoes recenty (bike shoes, or, more likely the shoes you wear day to day)0 -
All of the above, yet none of the above.
Always tight. Off the bike for 200 days. Some walking. No running. No changes in shoes.
New cleats will be here in the morning, so will change them accordingly. Rode the mtn bike as opposed to the road bike and it was a little easier.0 -
I'd say do plenty stretching of your calf and hamstrings and use the foam roller regularly for the next week or so and see if that helps for starters. After that I'd go to the physio if it's still bothering you. that's what they're there for.0

New cleats on and there is an appreciable difference.
Rolling this evening - sore as Hell at first!
