    Tempted to put a few quid E/W on Geraint but don't want to jinx him! 10/1 on Boonen would appear generous given his history in the race.

    Well given there's a lot of Gallopin going on this weekend in the UK, £2.50 EW on him at 150/1.

    Talking of betting, the last time I had the winner of the Grand National it was because it had the name of a cyclist in it - Numbersixvalverde. I should have stuck to that formula today, shouldn't I?

    I got a £5 free bet though, which has gone each way on Geraint.

    Got a couple of free £5 bets, gone for Degenkolb each way at 40/1 and Boonen for the win at 10/1.

    Noticed skybet pay ew down to 4th,all the others pay 123 only.Anyway had a fiver ew on Roelandts at 50s.
