Bought one today and once I had assembled it I just couldn't believe the quality of the workstand.
Had a look at my neighbours Park Workstand today and realised the while his cost over £140 against £30 for the one from Lidl.No contest.
    Well done Lidl.

Just been using mine this afternoon. Glad I bought one - works great!

I bought one about 3 years ago- the rotating head comes loose enough to rotate of its own accord very quickly, but other than that it's still a bargain.

It's an awful lot better than the £70 elite stand my uni club purchased soon after. However, I find it really difficult to get the pedals to clear the legs, which is a real pain when working on the gears!

Got one in Eastleigh this afternoon. They have about 20 left.
  • Used mine a few times already also using it to hang the bike in / on overnight :)

Got one from Lincoln store on Thursday afternoon, first impressions are that it seems a great stand for the price, really sturdy especially when compared to my mate's which is a 2-legged design and comes close to topping over all the time. Finally managed to sort my FD out :D

Still a big pile of them in the Wathamstow shop.

Nearly gave up trying to find them as they were buried under suitcases and chainsaws (obviously!)

I indexed my gears (for the first time) this morning on mine and can now use my lowest gear.

So I guess it's paid for itself.

Thank you Lidl.... Oh, and Youtube for the handy instructional video. :D

Only I did have to tidy the garage floor first as the footprint is pretty big. :?

  • Just a heads up:

I picked one up yesterday, but it was missing two parts- the tool tray and the handlebar brace.

Took it back and exchanged for a compete one. Might be worth a quick check in-store before you buy to save another trip.

Now you mention it, mine didnt come with the handlebar brace.

Got the cheap looking tool tray which I never bothered to fit.

Price will still be £30, the issue is whether there are any left in stock or not.

Managed to crack the tool tray during the install.... :?

Should have used a torque wrench !!

Torque wrench??! Its just a small try to support a few nuts n bolts etc- just nip it up by hand til it doesnt slip down the tube!
  • Got one of these too and very glad I did, knocks spots off the cheapo Ebay one I got for around the same price. I'm blown away by the quality!
