IIRC this is live on Eurosport from 2pm - think it was only delayed coverage last year.

Just browsing through the cyclingnews gallery.

    What is going on with:
    The poster behind Vanmarcke?

How has Millar made himself look this shape?

And why has Valverde shaved, isn't he taking this seriously?

Several crashes. Haymen and Tuft off to hospital.
Stannard bad fall. Looked as if he wouldn't get up.
    Chasing to get back on.
    93kms to go.

Somewhat innovatively I think there is a 970m loop right by the finish with pro riders going against each other in heats of four (like in Canada).

I guess they are paid to do this. Sutton, Kristoff, V Poppel all winners so far.

In the race to the climb of La Houppe...not good. Imagine crashing in a small race like this and not being able to take place in the big races as a result. Really not worth the hassle.

It's a big race. Just not as big as the monuments everyone is chasing.

Another crash. No excuse for that Belkin rider to crash just then.

Two groups after that split. Single file. Sorensen trying to force the advantage for Saxo.

A Trek and an OPQS come to the front to slow things down.

Sorensen goes again, lots of riders massing.

This sounds like a Grand National Spoiler Thread rather than a Bike race at the moment....
