Ugo isn't some fake spoke god, he's the wheel thing.

Wheels in at the LBS to get the spokes replaced and rebuilt. Going to keep the Mavic A719s as they're meant to be really good touring rims. The rear needs some straightening (obviously) so will have them in a few days.

I was just gonna suggest Mavic 719, that's what I have on my Karate Monkey - 36h
The best bike has Open Pro - 36h
The 2nd best bike that I might use for events has Chrina Ridga - 36h
The old Orbea racing bike also has Chrina Ridga - 36h

I weigh 82Kg and I like to do long distance rides. I can snap a spoke, do another 100km, do a 80kph descent and only then notice that I've lost a spoke. Front doesn't need 36h. I've never broken a front wheel spoke

Wheels are back and on the bike. The spoke tension is way higher than the original ones and the wheels are completely true now.

I feel an offroad loop somewhere is in order tomorrow just to see how well the bike runs.
