Their race, their rules.
Tbh, they dont even need to give a reason, they could just ban them on the grounds of "because we said so".

I really dont see the issue here though.

It won't save me because I don't watch them.
And, as a middle aged rider, the only thing I shout when I motor past people on the trails is 'Strava strava strava'.
Or I would if I used strava. And ever overtook people.
