Slipped disc advice .......help please

mxgeldarmxgeldar Posts: 12
I suffered a slipped disc last week and currently have a very sore lower back and cramp/pains down the outside of my right leg.

I have both a road bike and a 29er and want to get out on one of them as soon as possible. I also have a tacx turbo trainer that I could use.

I am relatively new to serious cycling and this year was going to be the one where I got my sportive/100/hill challenges done for the first time. Now I need to start from scratch.

When can I get out on bike? Is there a program I could follow? Is the turbo a better idea?

How long after pain subsides before I should start?

Thanks in advance for your help

First thing you need to do is find out what you did. Self diagnosis of something possibly as serious as disc problems needs to be addressed by those guys in the white coats.
