Has anyone worked out how to download tcx files to their Garmin using the new bikeroutetoaster site?
I have tried but can't do it. If I use tcx it says I have to set control panel to open tcx files with something but in control panel I cant see how to do this. If I click the Garmin tab to download it just downloads a gpx file.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Matt

So what exactly is the problem? You presumably are trying to get a course onto your garmin.
The gpx file does this. Put it in the newfiles folder restart the garmin you now have the course.
Make sure in the course settings to enable turn guidance.
The TCX export appears to be fubar.0 -
What garmin do you use?
on my edge 705 it doesnt seem to work the same as when it is saved as a tcx. The tcx file save in the courses folder under training and i can then just choose follow course and it directs me. I cant seem to do this when it is saved as gpx.0 -
I use both an etrex and the 800. As previous TCX export is not working on BRT.

You can convert the downloaded gpx to tcx here http://www.gpsies.com/convert.do?language=en0
