Is it really that bad? Guaranteed that once the bike arrives and you start riding it then you'll forget all about the waiting. As I said before I've been waiting nearly 6 months for my Felt frame, originally meant to be here in January, but not much else to do than just wait. Also remember we're just coming into the spring, so you'll get plenty of time over the better months to use your new bike.

I'm having to race my first ever crit on my old winter hack next weekend due to my delay, but I'm not too bothered as I know I'll have plenty of racing miles on the new bike once it arrives.

Like Mercia man,mine was ordered (from stock) on the 4th of this month. Heard nothing so phoned (after emailing and getting no response). I was told shipping at the end of the week. Nothing happened so phoned again. Shipping on Monday. Still nothing. So I find out about factory issues here.

Why don't they just say "we are having some issues" At least then I would know what is happening. It's a little unprofessional and it's making me edgy. I may save money short term (same spec for an Evo Hi-mod was way higher) but it could cost long term if I have problems with the bike and no one will touch it.
Of course all the moaning will be forgotten when I swing my leg over it and point it down the road (eventually)

What size did you order?

I am using tool for sizing but i cant access videos since youtube is not accessible to us.

Rider Height is 182-3cms
Once i got 56, then i did sizing again it came to 53.

At that height I would expect either a M(56) or L(58) would likely be best.
However, it'll depend on your proportions not just your height.
The size calculator on Canyon's site seems to base the size on inseam. If you got two different sizes I'm guessing you entered two different inseam measurements. My inseam is about 83.5-84cm and I'm getting a M(56).

As feared, my bike didn't arrive last week (Week 12).

Rang Robin at Canyon UK on Friday afternoon and again expressed disappointment that my delivery had been constantly put back from my official order confirmation date of Week 8. He said I could always cancel order. I said I was now approaching that stage as I had seen another bike I liked in LBS and one of the main reasons I had ordered the Canyon was that it was listed as In Stock and so I had thought I would get it within a couple of weeks of ordering in early Feb. Robin said my bike was listed as due for shipping this week (Week 13) and I said I would contact him again Mon or Tue to make a decision then on whether to cancel.

Ten minutes later I received a second official email confirmation from Canyon to say my bike would be shipped Week 13 followed shortly after by a call from Robin asking for my clothes size.

Shortly after that I got another official confirmation for Week 13 but with the addition of free Oakleys, a Vermarc top and Vermarc bib tights as compensation for the delays.

Here's hoping I will get good news this week that my bike is on the way. The hassle has taken away much of the excitement and anticipation of getting a new bike. I hope that when it does arrive it will be as good as others have said and the wait will have faded into the background.

After phoning last week I was told mine delivery was delayed because the VCLS 2.0 seatpost was out of stock. I'm not too bothered by that so reverting to the supplied post (which apparently is also very good) got the order moving. Until the same email about a week 13 delivery!
To be fair to canyon, the website does say that delivery is estimated and I'm sure they would like to get hold of our money as soon as possible.
No offer of any goodies like you though so maybe I will give them another call!
It will be worth the wait... hopefully...
