Your fave SS jersey

Been done a thousand times probably, but I'm upgrading my wardrobe and in the market for a nice short sleeve jersey for the new season. Style is almost as important as substance and while I love Rapha stuff, I'm not going there this time.

So, what's your go to piece of kit?

My favourite is by far my race fit Kingston Wheelers jersey, everything else is Rapha, not helpful I know

p.s. if on a splurg cos the sun is out (if not already) get a craft mesh base layer!

Yeah, I've been weighing up joining KW for about six years now, but something's always stopped me.

Thanks for the Craft suggestion, but I use the Prendas version..

Outside of my Rapha kit? My Torm kit.

It's Rapha rip-off. Not as stylish, but still nice and the fabric is lighter.

Definitely not the answer you want to hear, but for the money these are actually pretty awesome:

Only issue is that the neck is pretty low. Perfect for the commute I'd say....

Yeah, I have some Torm and nearly went for it last night - but with postage costs it put it in the same bracket as a Castelli Prologo, which confused me some more.

Else, I do like the Reynolds Aluminium Big Mig one on Prendas at the mo but my inlaws/family always ignore any jersey requests from my Chirstmas list so I am running perilously low.

Castelli? Slightly more in your face designs than Rapha though, but cheaper.. I love my Aero Race jersey for fast rides/timetrials.

I'll second Torm jerseys, great quality for a sensible price.

Giordana. Body Clone Forma Red is a superb one, but *very* slim race cut. Uber stylish though I think 8)

I quite like their Fusion one too, which is a real lightweight mesh, very comfy and cool.

Assos Mille is also a really nice one to wear.

I only have a s/s Slipstream jersey. It is tight-fitting and of similar weight fabric to Torm/Rapha's sportwool so not ideal for high summer but fine for most of the year.

Some people say the pockets sit a bit high, but I've not found it to be an issue yet.

Yeah, I liked that but always prefer full length zip. The one I really liked, was (obviously) £20 more expensive...

Also not sure if I can bring myself to ride in Welsh colours...

My Audax UK LEL jersey is a really nice piece of kit, but to save the agony of earning one I'd just buy Rapha...
