    I don't the Kysrium elites bladed spokes are a selling point. They are thick bladed spokes menaing they are not that aerodynamic. I fact there are not very aero at all ad it is not hard to build a very stiff wheel with a low spoke count I do it all the time. Oddly though a higher spoke count can weigh the same for comparable stiffness. So in that case the higher spoke count wins as the spokes will fatigue at a slower rate.

  • Went for the Zondas. Didn't look like a decent pair of handbuilts would go as low as my budget and they have had some great reviews. Fingers crossed and thanks for all of your input!

    Do you know this for sure (i.e. have seen it) or you're just making assumptions?
    My take is for the latter, as you probably don't know that a skilled mechanic builds a "standard" wheel in 25 minutes tops
