Few questions

After my ride tonight i have a few questions i have to ask.
1) My toes tend to go tingly (assuming not enough blood is getting to them). I have S-Works shoes and don't think i do them up to tight. What also might help solve the issue is the fact i ride with red cleats. No movement in the foot.
2) Second questions is, stiff knees after the ride. Not badly, but bad enough. Soon wears off. Will a good cool down work?
Thanks

Possibly
1 Cleat position/cold feet
2 Cleat position/pushing too hard a gear, spin easier gear.
Look here re knee pain and cleat position:

Are your shoes the right size ?
Try a cool down after your ride - I don't know if it will work for you.0 -
Cleat position could be a good call. They feel comfortable when peddling up hills and on the flat in terms of my height adjustment on the saddle etc. I have changed my cleats a number of times and the drive i have from them at the minute feels good. I was thinking of swapping to blue cleats so i have some more play in the legs when sprinting etc.
Cougie - I feel my shoes might perfectly not fit but not being too small. They are probably to big then too small. Something i certainly need to look into.0 -
Warming down is a good idea and if your shoes are too big the tendency is to 'claw' your toes to grip and stop your feet moving about in the shoes which could be causing some numbness.0

Feet swell during cycling. You should readjust after 20mins or so which will probably stop the numb toes issue0

Will try that out. Are Bont shoes really good at adapting to swelling feet?0
-
If your shoes are stiff enough for efficient pedalling they won't let your feet swell hence the needing to readjust0

I have Bonts. Yes, you will need to readjust it you do them up even semi-tight to begin with. The materials do not stretch at all. Depends how much your feet swell I guess. All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!
