    Seeing the world champ TTing on a road bike is really confusing. In that clip above I was trying to work out if it was old footage or why Rui Costa was looking so different and riding a Specialized!

    He was, and he served a suspension and had relevant titles stripped. Just because the amount of clen was zero,zero,zero,zero,zero,zero,zero,zero,zero,zero something doesn't make a difference.

    I think you remember incorrectly. You can argue till the cows come home (sorry) about whether he took it intentionally or not, but no-one argues he didn't take it somehow.

    I thought he was convicted of doping, but guilty of ingesting the clem?

    Maybe its just the legal wording or something, I cant remember was a while ago I read about that.

    He was pretty awful for Canondale last year. Dont remember him near the front end of a single race.

    I agree with Frenchie ... Ryder needs to serve some kind of ban ...

    The Garmin crew can't just get away with what they like when others have to serve any real punishment ... It's not as if any of them are appealing their cases so racing while waiting on due process ... For Garmin to promote themselves as a team with a non-doping agenda but behave the way they do beggars belief ... As FF says, no shame ...
