    I have a lapierre Spicy 327' it replaced my 2010 Spicy 216. I have heavily modified it.
    ZTR arch ex wheels, xtr cranks and 30 tooth single ring, 11-42 one cassette mod, XT mid cage RD, Saint shifter, Formula RX brakes from my old spicy instead of the crappy avids, renthal duo stem, kcnc post, titanium bolts through out to stop the rust you get here in North Queensland, Deity D30 bars and replaced the oh so shit fox forks with X-Fusion Sweeps. Bike now perfect and weighs in with shimano 520 pedals at 12.75 kg.

    I'd say buy the lapierre and ditch the crap forks. Just my opinion but I've ridden but elastomer forks !!!!!!
