What Problems Do You Need Fixing

Hey All I have a question,
Does anyone have any bike related problems that could be fixed, I mean like chain slap, protecting shifters in crashes, taking up chain slack, or stopping chain slap, any responses with problems like that would be amazingly helpful, so thank you so much.

The OP is now starting to realise how pointless asking questions can sometimes be on this forum...All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.

The ground needs improving, it needs to be firm when you're riding but when you crash needs to behave more like a bouncy castle.0

I always loved bouncy castles. They were great.0

These would definitely hurt less when you crash into them

Larger gravitational pull on downhills, lesser on uphills.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Let me guess. Student looking to do some random project. Asks dumb question without putting any thought into it.
Only problem I see is failure.
And an obsession with chainslap.Orange Coffee wrote:...I mean like chain slap, protecting shifters in crashes, taking up chain slack, or stopping chain slap...I don't do smileys.

You can't fix something that isn't broke.
And cooldad isn't broke - he rides a full suss.0 -
Only cos he's old and would be broke if he didn't0

no not a student nor looking for a project, the main problem here seems to be cooldad going around criticising random people with a statement that has no logic behind it0

I got fixed a long time ago. Snip/snip. Small operation, quite painless.
Try it - the world will be thankful.I don't do smileys.

So don't keep us in suspense. Why did you ask that strange question?
ps. Talking about logic, you don't 'fix' problems, you solve them.I don't do smileys.

In the vernacular we often 'fix' problems.

Pretty sure you'll have heard the phrase - ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer. All the answers given appear to be stupid.0
