Turbo trainer Advice

I'm looking to get a turbo trainer soonest, budget is £350 but I could stretch to £500 if it was really going to make a big difference.
I've had a look at CycleOps Jet Fluid Pro, and a SuperMagneto, as well as a Taxc Flow Ergo. All look as though they would do a great job, but as ever with a big stash of money, I hesitate before pressing the Buy button.
I like the look of the CycleOps virtual training system, but I know that Tacx do something similar. I would like to be able to workout to videos on an ipad (pc not available so no TrainerRoad though I could build a PC to sit in the garage out of spare parts if I had to) so that I can keep the boredom at bay, as well as syncing up with stats etc. I'd also like the control to be done by remote(ant+ ideally) if possible. I already have a Garmin GSC10.
Any advice on which one I should go for, or if there is something else that I should consider eg Tacx i-Vortex?

I bought the fluid pro before Christmas and am very pleased with it. Well built and a lifetime guarantee that hopefully will not be needed.
I use trainer road on a mac at the moment. You can still watch a video on an iPad separately if you like.
I find it hard to concentrate on the ever changing power and cadence requirements of some TR stuff if you have minimized the data to the thin strip along the bottom to facilitate a video above it.
So, when the iPad version comes out ( they have started it already) I will probably just use two iPads.
Works very well with Garmin heart and GSC10. Personally, I find having cadence very important as there are TR drills to help you improve that.0 -

Out of interest, what would a £500 turbo give you that a £250 turbo wouldnt, or even a £150 turbo for that matter?0 -
Been using a Tacx Flow for last 2 winters. Found to be a great training tool. Gives you power output, cadence etc so ace for tracking improvements in fitness.
The power meter is not as accurate as say a powertap or SRM but as long as you keep the bike you use on the turbo the same set up and tyre pressure you get a consistent reading so can track improvements.
Amazon offer great price on them too at the moment £259 for the ergotrainer version0
