Right guys,

Please can you can post when you're not available, e.g holidays etc. Then I can look at the race calender and see who can do what and come up with a system so that everyone does their fair share. Doing PTP for a GT is a lot more difficult then a one day race.

Cheers.

I'm not available the first 3 days of le tour or the last day as I'll be on the road side. Also not available 30th August - 7th September.

In first to get first pick

Put me down for any or all the one day races

If you want to add in new one days - Strade, Roma Maxima, KBK, Quebec/Montreal, or even the Nationals weekend I'm happy to do those too.

I am away the last week of March.

Not confirmed as yet but looking at being away the last week of July.

As mentioned on the original thread I am happy to put my hand up for the Giro if you need a volunteer. Apart from that happy to do whatever is needed.
  • I like the idea of the Nationals being included, but it is a bit of a lottery.

Just the Grand National. Odds-on Rogers.

    Not all of them

I'd include Britain, Ireland, Belgium, France, Italy (maybe Spain)

Up for anything until the last week of the Tour, and very spotty availability thereafter.

I can probably do planned stuff post Tour, and would help on anything unplanned before then if available.

I'll now actually be better in the second half of the season as I have had to take some contract work on to help with funds until my headphones business starts paying its way properly.
  • Is there a PTP for Tour Down UndeR?

Nope - it doesnt start until Omloop - have a look at the thread below this one for info on 2013 calendar which by the looks of things will be the same for 2014 (unless as was discussed in another thread, the Tour of Britain is added).

I'll try and get a provisional calender done over the weekend. If not then early next week.

OK here is the calender. I've put people down next to the races but this isn't final. I want all of us to agree and everyone is happy. Some people are doing more races but doing a 3 week GT is more work than a one day race so hopefully it is fair but please feel free to comment. I want to make this as fair as possible for everyone.

    Eneco Tour...YES!
ToB - I am away from 11 - 14 at La Ronde Picarde. Happy to do the first few days and then pass over to someone else, or will do a straight swap for another race...

Would you be able to swap with mr_poll for either the dauphine or tour de swisse? Would rather have someone doing a whole race rather than having to swap half way through.

    I can do the Dauphine.
Seems like an unbalanced swop, do I need to provide some cash to make up the difference?!?

    Works for me.

rozzer - any chance you can edit your first post with the final schedule when it is decided? It is easier to find that way.

When we have the final schedule I'll start a new "PTP 2014" thread and put it in there.

Will you be sending out the race spread sheets before each race?

How strict are we supposed to be on cut-off times?

I'd say pretty strict and say 12pm prompt. Best to be consistent between everyone. It's not good if one person says 12pm sharp yet others are like well 12:20 hmmm ok I'll give you points. It says in the main ptp thread the cut off is 12.
