Hmm, he could be. Looks like he's just broken wind to me.0

Ex world champs can wear the stripes on their sleeves when riding their championship discipline for all eternity if they want to. (e.g. Cav can wear stripes in the Madison and on the road, but not in TTs.)0 -
Is that Boonen throwing up the v's in the background? Id give alot to be photobombed by Tom Boonen!0

But would you really wear it on a training ride? Really?
Yeah, I would too.0 -

He's contracted to wear that kit whenever he goes out on a bicycle.Correlation is not causation.0 -

That would kinda put you off popping out to get a pint of milk on the bike.0 -

I think I would too! I'd like to think I'd keep myself closer to race weight than Cav's picture suggests, though. After all, a stomach that size doesn't appear without a lot of work. He must be knocking on two stone overweight as he looks porky for a normal person. (Caveat for Cav's lawyers - I'm only going on the picture, so I'm not saying he's actually porky, just that he looks it!)
I think the stripes are a powerful influence on a rider. Chris Hoy rode the 2006 Etape du Tour in his World Champion's jersey. Unfortunately, as this was for the kilo, by his own admissions, he felt a bit silly grovelling up Alpe D'Huez!0 -

Somehow I doubt Cav rides one of these:

Our Cav, feeling down on his luck,
Flashed his eyes, at the off-season pies
Thus solving the riddle: to skittle the Kittel
